so i have 2 of these lunch bags... they were so cute yet sophisticated i had to get a rocket one and an airplane one for my boys. i picked them up from a super cute baby boutique in brooklyn. they were still in the packing material so i didn't think to inspect it. i got tons of compliments on the bags too!
so the first one was a foil interior. which means it rips easily. i have 2 year olds. that didn't last long. the 2nd one had a different material that was much more durable on the inside.. i think possibly a later generation of the product... so i thought.. great! this one will last! ...except if you may incur some drips / leaks. the material itself is waterproof. however anywhere there was a seam / the edges, zippers, handles, etc. it was extremely not waterproof. liquids would seep in and get to the material which was waterproof underneath the waterproof coating... so it had a hard time drying. ...and good luck if the leak was milk!!! talk about stinky!! it's sept 24.. school only started the 5th... and i've spent countless hours trying to glue the foil back on, drying out the bag, spraying the liner with waterproofing shoe coating, trying to get milk stinks out of the bag... too bad i can't return the product :(
if this is for an older person / no spills will be anticipated.. this is definitely still a bag to recommend due to the fabulous looks. but if it's for a toddler... please pass! move onto something that was intended for toddlers!

Hi. I really like my new lunchbox, and I am giving it 4 stars not 5 because it could be a bit bigger for the price. Also, the pictures make it look like it is made of fabric, which would have been very cool and different, but it is vinyl. Maybe the description says that and I missed it.

The lunchbox is of high quality, great design, and keeps food very cold. Highly recommend. May purchase the larger one as well as a "picnic basket."
