The item looked nice, seemed to be well made and of good size to fit most lunch bags. Unfortunately, it is very hard to open. Simply lifting the tab will not do it. I don't think a young child could open this box. The edge on the tab is also sharp and can hurt little fingers. It was made in China.

My son is a big 5 year old and has lots of trouble opening this. It is great if you can get your hands round the whole box, but I feel sure most kids can't do that. Maybe it will loosen a little over timer but he is going to struggle with it.

I got this for my almost 5yr old son... with the matching Insulated Food Jar .. he loved it... and per grandma.. (she prepares lunch for my son) the jar kept his lunch warm, so he dosen't need to heat up his food during lunch... and the lunch box fits his sandwich perfectly as well! Definitely a great buy~
