I love this box it is super cute and fits a good amount of food when packed well. It comes with a bowl with can be used for making soup either from a thermos or a packet mix. It's microwavable and dish washable. The band and inner lid keep everything safely together. You can also tuck a pack of gummies or similar in the top part. My daughter loves taking this box to school. It would also made a cute storage box

I was looking for a cute owl-related gift for a girlfriend’s daughter’s 9th birthday, as she is crazy about any thing owl. My 15 year old daughter found these 3 cute animal bento boxes (owl, panda and penguin) and just HAD to get the panda for herself and the penguin for her bff, and of course we got the owl for the 9 year old.
When the bentos first arrived, I saw how incredibly cute they are! Seriously, adorable. The elastic strap keeps the 3 pieces together: The top, or “hat” is an upside-down bowl that sits on the “eyes” a middle, lidded container (holds about 1 cup), which sits on the “body/feet” bottom bowl (which holds a little under a cup). Total about 2 cups. Undo the elastic and you have a three-piece lunch set. The elastic keeps the pieces securely in place, although I wouldn’t toss it around!
And probably my favorite thing about these bentos- they’re so easy to keep clean as they are dishwasher safe, except the clear lid under the hat that you need to hand wash.
One concern I had was whether there was enough room for an actual lunch. My girlfriend with the 9 year old says she most often packs bite-size sandwiches, carrot/cucumber and fruit for her daughter in it. She said it's a perfect size for her daughter. She’s also put a little ice pack under the “hat” and put yogurt in the middle and other yummies in the bottom.
My daughter has taken to eating her breakfast cereal in it and then using it for chips and dip as an after school snack for days when she has cheer practice. The biggest problem she says she’s had is making sure her friends leave it alone! Her friend, on the other hand, refuses to use it for food because she has decided it is great for storing her jewelry and displaying on her dresser.
So I guess between the points they are super cute, well made and big enough for lunches and snacks with some creativity, not to mention great for storage and display, I was smart to listen to my daughter when she found these!

Super cute bento box! Very versatile! No matter if you pack a sandwich and fruit or rice and vegetables this bento box will work for a variety of lunches. It can be used for kids or adult bentos, jewlery or toiletries. I love how well made the box is and how amazingly cute this design is. It holds just enough lunch for my daughter and thanks to the bento strap it is a great lunchbox for on the go! Another great feature is the lid! It doubles as a bowl and if you pack rice and vegetables for example you can "serve" lunch in the bowl. Makes eating away from home more like a restaurant experience then a "eating out of a lunchbox" experience. We love our box!
