I bought this bento in December, and upon seeing it wondered how it could hold my lunch for work. I tend to bring a lot of food plus snacks. (I work graveyard) so something durable was a must. I also love to carry my cute purses, and an ugly lunchbox wouldn't do. Anyway... i can fit a fish filet and rice in the bottom section, and i like to put yogurt in the top. That is more than enough to fill me up. I never put this bento in the dishwasher and always washed by hand after getting home from work. I was sad to discover a huge crack in the bottom portion, and now it is unusable... im very sad to have lost my bento, and will be buying another before this week is up. I want to go w the same brand, because they are very cute. But 4 months tops isn't long enough for a $20 lunchbox!

This little bento is perfect for packing lunches, snacks, etc. It fits nicely into a purse, and doesn't take up so much room in the fridge. It's small, but the two tiers leave space for several different foods. Since the lid is larger than the base piece, this can also be used as a single-tier bento.
Besides that, it's simply adorable (and actually motivates me to take some time crafting meals cute enough to do the bento some justice). :3

I was reluctant to buy it, my 3 year old begged.... because of the giraffe, I'm sure. We bought it for her and she's head over heels about it and we've had it a month now. As the person that packs it, it's brilliant! I don't have to shuffle seperaters to make sure the food is neat, the top tier has that already and it's removable for easy cleaning! LOVE THAT! The bottom tier has enough room for 3 standard silicone cupcake holders and it just falls together so easily. I've been doing Kawaii Bento for both my girls for over 3 years and have grown quite a collection, this is by far my FAVORITE. It's not the prettiest box on the outside, but to my 3 year old it is perfect! The inside dynamic is wonderful. ;-)
