I'm disappointed that this doesn't have an interior mesh pocket for ice packs/snacks. Those ice packs take up space! And it seems smaller than expected. As a preschool teacher, I notice lots of lunch boxes each day and thought this was the perfect fit for my little guy - love the print! But the size and missing interior pocket were deal breakers for me. If you're not worried about those - this is great!

This is one of the rare items where great style and design from an adult's perspective is met with the same enthusiasm by the child your buying for - love it! The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because within a few weeks of going to preschool everyday, the light pink handle is dirty and I'm unable to wipe clean as recommended. Perhaps a darker color handle and zipper would hide the quick wear.
