The 4 year old loves this lunch box. She can't wait for sack lunch day at her school. It's not very deep. Tried to pack a lunchable and had to take everything out of the box and put them in plastic bags. She's only in pre-school so it will keep until she gets a little older.

My first grader thought long and hard about her annual lunch box purchase to be crushed it was too small. It was super cute and built well and she begged to keep it but her Thermos and other containers wouldn't fit. The dimensions were 7 X 6 X 3 not the described 8 X 6 X 4.

Great for my preschooler (4 yrs old). She loves it. It is not deep though -- doesnt fit a little Sigg bottle or thermos. But since she mostly takes just a few things this is just fine. After getting a Skip Hop lunch bag earlier in the year, it started to smell really bad despite my efforts to keep it clean. I'm so happy I found this metal one that is so much easier to keep clean.
