The box is cute for sure. BUT, and this is a big but. The inside is covered with some sort of fabric. Not a great idea for a child's lunch box. One juice or yogurt spill and the box would be done for. No chance of cleaning it well. I can just see the mold growing. I am returning it.

I purchased this for my daughter for school. She has used it for almost 2 months and it is already falling apart. The metal plate on the front is held on with little black pegs and they are all almost broke. I found all of these little black things in it when she brought it home one day and finally figured out that they were the broken pegs. I agree with the previous reviewer that the inside should not be made of fabric. My daughter left a partially full yogurt container in it and it got all over the inside. There is no way to clean it...ugh. After just 2 months, I am replacing it. Too bad, it is really cute!

Roomy and well made. Sturdy sides; will stand up to being bounced around in the bookbag or classroom. Good zipper.
