We bought this lunch box for our daughter who just started kindergarten. Her requirements was that it must be pink and have a princess on it. We wanted something that was durable and easy to clean. We knew that the current trend with cloth lunch boxes would not hold up to a hungry kindergartener so we were delighted when we came across this one. Over all this is a good lunch box. The main compartment has a slide lock, which makes it easy to open for her. However the front compartment is too tough for her to pinch open by herself. This is not a big deal right now since we don't need the space for her lunch.
The lunch box also came with a plastic sandwich container. It has a divider so that you can put something in the bottom and something different on the top. It is easy to open and take the food out. This also comes with a bottle with a pop up straw. If you put both the bottle and the sandwich box in the lunch box there is not room for anything else. This is not a big deal since it holds enough food for a kid.
The only downside to this lunch box is the plastic bottle. The one we got must be defective because the top never screws on tight and it leaks (at least the lunch box is easy to clean). We will be looking for a new bottle for her lunch box.
