Product Description
Revolutionary children's lunchbox that brings together style and function for kids, parents, and the environment. Using wasteful plastic bags is a thing of the past when you carry Yubo. Each Yubo Deluxe Lunchbox includes a custom-fit ice pack, 2 small round containers perfect for grapes, raisins, carrots, and goldfish crackers, and 1 large container big enough to pack a whole sandwich or leftovers. Lunchbox handles are made of a soft rubber material making it easy for those little hands to carry. The handle can be repositioned anywhere along the outside of the lunchbox - carry it vertically, horizontally, or clip it to your backpack. When it's time to wash the lunchbox, simply take off the outside lunchbox lids and pop the whole thing in the dishwasher. Cleaning up is a cinch - no more crumbs getting stuck in seams or lasting spoiled yogurt odors. And last but certainly not least, each Yubo lunchbox comes with a designer faceplate set (2 prints) that can be swapped out to make way for other faceplate sets as kids' tastes change. Faceplates fit securely in Yubo's lunchbox lids yet are easy for kids to pop in and out. Faceplate sets are durable, water-proof, and tear-proof. Perfect for kids, parents, and our planet. Additional food containers, designer faceplate sets, and drink holders sold separately. Lunchbox measures 9.8-Inch wide by 6.9-Inch tall by 3-1/2-Inch deep.

I love the premise of this lunchbox, but am finding using it somewhat of a pain.
The pros:
1) No more smell from spilled liquids like you get from using the fabric lunchboxes
2) The look - it's cute and customizable!
The cons:
1) None of my normal, kid size plastic containers fit in the lunchbox when I use the Yubo icepack, so you need to buy the custom containers, which are pretty pricey.
2) The sides can easily get bumped and come off, dumping everything out.
3) The faceplates are difficult to remove and are not supposed to go in the dishwasher. We put them in anyway as we can't get them out.
4) You can't fit liquid containers inside, so there's no way to keep the drinks refrigerated.

I don't leave many reviews, but after seeing the other one posted here, I felt I had to share my experience.
We love the fact that the whole lunchbox can go in the dishwasher (minus the faceplates). I do not find the faceplates difficult to remove; just slide your fingernail under it and it will pop right out. I wouldn't be pleased if they were loose and falling out all the time. I ordered photo ones thru the Yubo website and they were a huge hit with my son (and his teachers and classmates). The lunchbox is a little hard to snap closed; you have to give it a good push to close them tight. The only time the contents has ever come out was when we didn't put the lid on properly. I also like the fact that this is a 'green' product. No need to use baggies. We have found that juice boxes and drink pouches (think CapriSun) fit just fine. If you buy the 'deluxe' lunchbox it comes with 3 containers and the icepack. You can purchase more containers (and different sized containers) on the Yubo website, as well as here on Amazon.
I also like that I can swap out the faceplates. This year my 4 year old is getting new photo faceplates (you can upload your own images) and my 2 yr old is getting his 1st lunchbox.

I really love this lunchbox! It's so easy to keep clean. Keeps food very fresh, too! My only complaint is that it could be a bit larger to hold more! All in all, well worth the money!
