This is a great little bento box.
The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the separated portion that has a lid (not to be confused with the top cover of the box) isn't liquid tight. It really just sort of fits over the top of that section so don't plan on using this for anything that might leak, because it will leak. I found that putting fruit in a small ziplock baggie inside it prevented the leakage.
There are other bento boxes designed for liquids, this isn't one of them.
Beyond that, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this box.

I bought this for my 5 year old to use at Kindergarten. I was a little afraid at first that it wouldn't hold enough food, but with the help of some cute cookie cutters and finger foods, it ended up being perfect. He loves it. Calls it his "froggy picnic box". I love how sturdy it is, and very easy to clean. I'm hoping to add a couple of the other animal shapes to our collection this year as well.

There's two compartments in this bento box, so a meal would be a good, reasonable size for lunch. I wish it had compartments like other bento boxes though.
It's also nice b/c it's very cute. The band to hold it in place is happy tears and the panda companion bento box has one with eyebrows.
