This is an excellent lunchbox for a young student. Our kindergartener loves pirates. He goes to a large school with tons of kids and the lunchroom aides don't have enough time to assist them in opening lunch boxes and containers. The whole lunchbox can go in the dishwasher. It's roomy and comes with separate containers inside. It's easy to carry, open, and close. Very satisfied with this purchase.

I bought this pirate lunchbox and "bento box" cookbook for my grandson and his mom --they have fun making cute lunches and he loves carrying his lunchbox to kindergarten.
